Pediatric dentists have advanced training in caring for patients with special needs. Many special needs patients are susceptible to gum disease, dental caries and orofacial trauma. Many patients are on daily medication that can effect oral health.
Some children with special needs may require more time and gentle care. Some patients require mild sedation, restraint or for extensive dental treatment care under general anesthesia. We work with parents and children to customize a comprehensive lifelong dental plan for all of our patients.
