Richard Bruun, D.D.S.

Dr. Bruun, an orthodontist and pediatric dentist, completed his undergraduate education at SUNY Stonybrook and was awarded his D.D.S. from SUNY Stonybrook School of Dental Medicine. He completed his training in orthodontics at the Boston University Goldman School of Graduate dentistry and his training in Pediatric Dentistry at the Boston Children’s Hospital and the Harvard School of Dental Medicine.
He is a Senior Associate at Boston Children’s Hospital and an Assistant Clinical Professor of Oral and Developmental Biology at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine. He is a member of the Cleft Lip and Palate and Craniofacial Teams at Boston Children’s Hospital. He is also the co-director of the Fellowship in Craniofacial Orthodontics at Boston Children’s Hospital. Dr. Bruun’s academic interests include cleft lip and palate and craniofacial anomalies.
Dr. Bruun became an administrative partner in 2009, consulting with his partner group on various patient cases and practice initiatives until his retirement from Chestnut Dental in 2017.
